EUROSTAR NOVAGLASS PROJECT

THE PRODUCT

EUROSTAR is a plastomeric waterproofing membrane, specially developed to satisfy exceptionally demanding application requirements.
Thanks to a waterproofing compound made with distilled bitumen modified with saturated, polyolefinic polymers of new generation, it assumes and enhances the well-known properties of the plastomeric membranes, conferring them as well elastic behaviour at low deformations.
Thanks to its performance characteristics, EUROSTAR exceeds the best quality level so far expressed by the market.
Under the aesthetical-dimensional profile, it differentiates from the other products for:

1. The height of 110 cm;
   
2. The finishing of the upper face with a granules special in their nature, colour and size;
   
3. The presence on the upper face of a line that defines the overlapping area;
   
4. The finishing of the lower face with a shiny blue polyolefinic film.

Due to the particularity of the elements which make up the EUROSTAR (waterproofing compound, reinforcement and superficial finishing), the product must be applied by experienced and qualified personnel, with full knowledge on the behaviour of the sheet to thermal stresses. Acquisition of this information and the preparation for the correct laying technique are assumed by applicators during a period of technical-practical training in NOVAGLASS.
At the end of the course, a "Proficiency Certificate" for the use of the EUROSTAR in the waterproofing system is issued to the applicators which are recognised qualified.
